Inside Track is a political talk show now in its 16th year. It originates from Tucson, AZ and is broadcast on AM 1030 KVOI, The Voice, every Saturday from 1pm to 4pm MST. The show also “streams live” here. Click the “Listen Live” button to tune in. Host Emil Franzi is well versed in politics–he ran a number of campaigns in California before moving to Arizona where he also ran numerous campaigns for candidates.
Emil’s politics are conservative in nature and he makes no bones about his positions and takes no crap from those who try to find holes in his arguments. He can be abrasive at times, but you will always know where he stands on an issue.
The program features guests from all political stripes on all topics. Conservatives love him and Liberals are always challenged in arguing their points with him. Among the national guests we’ve had on the air are columnist Ilan Berman, former Ambassador Francis Rooney, AMAC President Dan Weber, Mises President Jeff Diest, Mises economist Dr. Mark Thorton, author Andy McCarthy, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, Ilan Berman, Avik Roy, Kurt Schlichter and numerous other big-hitters on the national scene.
Frequent co-hosts include Arizona’s Republican Committeeman Bruce Ash and former local office seekers.
Inside Track airs live on AM 1030 KVOI on Saturday’s from 1pm to 4pm MST and “streams live” here. To participate in the show, call 520-790-2040. If you miss a program, catch up with the podcasts.
2014 Arizona General Election Endorsements
ALL PARTISAN OFFICES – VOTE STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN
I don’t care if there’s an unopposed Democrat running who’s your brother-in-law, DON’T VOTE FOR ANY OF THEM.
Not because all the Republicans are wonderful, they aren’t A few are even dingbats. But life is a matter of “compared to what” and the system works better when the party that needs reform is helped along.
Democrats need reform more desperately than Republicans. Republicans have primaries and allow their peasantry a voice. Democrats now are ruled by a small elite that is loyal to the special interest groups they comprise. Union leadership is now more involved in backing up the LGBTs over sames sex restrooms than they are about taking of their members. Teacher’s unions are more interested in backstopping the big corporations pimping Common Core and the massive test revenues they will get than they are about taking care of classroom teachers or, God forbid, the kids themselves.
Radio host Hugh Hewitt said it best. Democrats need to be punished for the cowardice they have displayed in failing to challenge Obama, Pelosi and Harry Reid for their incompetence and dumb ideas.
Make them pay for it. The humiliation of a big defeat might finally get them to change some of their elitist ways.
BALLOT PROPS – STATEWIDE
122 – YES It drives the left nuts to consider something the Founders would find elementary.
303 – YES Only someone with the soul of a petty bureaucrat and a sick control freak would deny a terminal patient a shot at an experimental drug
304 – Legislative pay raise. NO
I am tired of hearing if we pay more we get better people. Wrong – we just get bigger slugs. And I do not wish to be governed by people who need the job – think that might influence their actions? If a campaign contribution does, how about a paycheck?
The three states with highest legislative salaries are California, Illinois and New York. The state with the lowest pay is New Hampshire where per capita taxation is one of the country’s lowest and there is no state income OR sales tax. Enough said.
The best deal we ever got was the original Founders who paid their own way to Philadelphia both times and HAD no salaries.
BALLOT PROPS – LOCAL
415 -YES We have the same obligation to discarded and sick pets that we have to discarded and sick children. Only anarcho-capitalists can vote no on this without hypocrisy. Conservatives and limited government conservatives should join me in voting YES for something that will save thousands of dogs, cats and assorted other critters. DO THE MATH YOU WHINING MAROONS WITH PIG MASKS. $22 million over 15 years for over a million people is chump change.
Get a life.
VARIOUS SCHOOL DISTRICT BONDS AND OVERIDES
Your district, your call. We live in Amphi where our kids went to school. We’re voting NO on this one.
The following is from the Pima GOP’s blog. It fails to identify Jo Grant as a Republican member of the Amphi School Board, which seems a tad unfair. Hopefully that’s the only one they missed. Corrections are up to any Republican who noticed the need.
